Mauke is an island Electorate in the Southern Group islands. Also a group of 3 islands known as Nga-Pu-Toru.

PARLIAMENTARY SERVICES:

Elected to the Parliament of the Cook Islands for the first time in 2010, general election.

Re-elected 2014 and 2018, general elections.

Speaker of Parliament.

Speaker of the House of Parliament.

PUBLIC SERVICE INFORMATION:

A qualified and registered electrician serving the government public service first in Rarotonga then in Mauke. Former Island Secretary for Mauke before entering politics. He served in the public service for some 40 years.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Active in the community activity on Mauke. Former Member of the Mauke Island Council and Deputy Chairman of the Mauke Island Council.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:

Primary School – Avarua School.

Secondary School – Tereora College.

Tertiary includes:
Honiara Technical College, Solomon Islands and New Zealand Open Polytech, New Zealand.

Qualified registered electrician both for Australia and New Zealand.

TRADITIONAL TITLE (TAO’ANGA MATAKEINANGA):

No traditional title.
