PUBLIC SERVICE INFORMATION:

Entered the government public service as a police officer for many years. After graduating from law studies worked in the Crown Law office as crown prosecutor.

Promoted to Deputy Solicitor General and later Solicitor General. Took office as Secretary for Justice in 2011 to 2018 before entering into politics.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Very active in supporting the people of his home islands of Pukapuka and Nassau. A strong member of the Cook Islands Christian Church.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:

Primary School – Pukapuka.

Secondary School – Tereora College.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Victoria, Wellington.

A Masters of Business Pukapuka/Nassau is an island Electorate in the Northern Group islands.

Administration, University of the South Pacific. Diploma in Public Sector Management, Massey University, New Zealand.
