Elected a Member of the Parliament of the Cook Islands for the first time in 2018.

PUBLIC SERVICE INFORMATION:

A trained carpenter and solar technician servicing the island. Qualified government builder for Mitiaro.

Acting Island Secretary for Mitiaro (2000-2003).

Coordinator on Mitiaro for Ministry of Infrastructure and Executive Officer for Mitiaro (2016-2018) before entering politics.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Very active in supporting the Mitiaro Island community projects. Chairperson for Mitiaro School Committee. President for Mitiaro Sports Association. A Deacon for the Mitiaro Cook Islands Christian Church.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:

Primary School – Mitiaro School.

Secondary School – Tereora College (Outer Islands Scholarship).

Studied extramural with the University of the South Pacific and completed Project Management study with Auckland University of Technology.

Certified Builder for government and a Building Contractor.
